“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”
Ansel Adams
About Me
I always knew that I had a creative streak in me but I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it. I was educated in graphic design and animation which I loved and still do today.
My passion for photography really started in 1975. Over the last 50 years I had dabbled in it here and had various camera systems but was never able to commit the time to it. After 5 years of retirement and then a transformative move to the east coast I'm ready to lose myself in photography.
Artist's Statement
Pushing back against our chaotic and unpredictable world, the escape to a quiet, calm place called solitude just feels right and brings with it patience and simplicity. When I start from a place of solitude the act of creating photographs is such a joy.
